24 Hours
From RPGwiki
In addition to discussing the 24 hour events here I'm hoping someone still has the certificates that Ed made for them, and has the time to write them up on here...
how many of them were there? I can't remember...
Did I really play Hulk Hogan in riverworld, or was I the Red Baron, or Wyatt Earp? Hohoho!
Ed
As I remember we played riverworld twice, first in the 24 hou you played the Red Baron, then when we played it at my dads place in Barton you insisted on being Hulk Hogen...
For the 24 hour I played my first neandathal called Zabu (whom as I enjoyed playing so much that I resumed a simular role with the same name in the Taladas game...)
For the ongoing Riverworld game (that proved not to be so ongoing) I played a charactor who now seems very simular to Jack from Lost, in that he was a doctor who seemed to be able to do just about anything he put his mind to...
There was a reason for him being so good at almost everything.
As the campaign is long dead I guess I'm okay to reveal it - I was in cahoots with my brother on this one. My guy was one of the mysterious strangers who were behind the whole resurection process, and I was a field agent observing the experiment...
(This was partially down to the fact that I'd read the books and so did actually know what was going on)
(In fact, my choice of Zabu was too. Because he had communication problems, and thus prevented myself from using my prior knowledge...)
Craig
"Hey brother, you gotta train, say your prayers, take your official Hulk Hogan chewable vitamins, and believe in yourself! Don't do drugs, kids!"
Hmm. Maybe I'll not play Hulk Hogan again.
Ed
And there was much rejoicing...
Alex
PS, Wyatt Earp was a recurring NPC in the 24-hour version of Riverworld. He took a dislike to the party and pursued a vendetta against them no matter how many times you killed him.
