A week on Saturday
OK. We are but a week and a bit away from the next meet-up. To avoid me having to ring up everybody this weekend can those who know that the event is on and know that they are coming please indicate that they are at the bottom of this page. Thank you.
I'll be over on Friday afternoon, and you won't be getting rid of me till Monday...
Still the 21 & 22? THat should be ok.
Yup, it is indeed the 21st & 22nd.
Are you all set for our next mission for RAM? I believe that its you and Sandy who are up for running their games this time.
Plus I'll bring along some board & card games (I have a new Cthulhu based one I'm dying to try out...) and I'm sure Kev will do likewise. (Well, maybe not Cthulhu based...)
I'll be there, and so will the minions of RAM. And Cthulhu.
Won't it get a little bit crowded? (Even if Ed, Kev & Geoff haven't confirmed yet...)
Relax. Cthulhu can alter the workings of space-time so that everyone will fit in.
I'll be there on the Saturday at the usual time.
Ah, Friday the Thirteenth. An appropriate day to pass on the bad news. Three months ago I let my manager know that I would like this weekend free despite me not having booked it in March (mainly because we didn't know it was this weekend back then). He was happy he could bend the rules a little to let it happen.
He was reassigned to a different store a month later.
Sadly our new manager, while being OK in most regards, is a stickler for the rules on holidays and since I didn't book it back in March I cannot get Sunday the 22nd off. So, while I can happily run my game on Saturday I will have to leave you on your own while I spend the hours of ten 'til two on Sunday at work, and so will miss most of Andy's RAM game. Sorry. (I think Patrick will be off at a conference learning new forensic techniques...)
Still, I surpose you are just maintaining the long-standing (though perhaps not fine) tradition that at least one of the group can't make at least one of the days...
Hello. I'll be somewhere around Derby from Friday through to Tuesday, and have somewhere else to sleep for the duration.
Geoff says he should be able to come.
Wow. We might actually all be there. At the same time.
Though I've read enough comics. Even if Kev & Geoff are in the same room then I'll still be suspicious about them. One of them will acually be someone else in disguise. Or a robot duplicate. Or a hologram. Or the him(/them) from an alternate reality. Or some such...
