Was pretty sure it was Nigel, and yeah it was quite role-playing-y, though because of the the nature of the game these roles generally revolved around going into dungeons and large buildings and clearing them out of various beasties.Often Skaven as i recall. Mainly, I think, because Nigel liked using their flame-throwers on us...

Like I said, I only played in the open day competition, and that one was run by Gary. The rest could well have been Nigel.

No, it was Nigel that ran it. Was actually quite a lot of fun - Nig was quite inventive with the different scenarios, and ran it more like a roleplaying game than a board game.

I seem to recall that it was Gary himself. I only played it once, at an open day for the school. I do recall your dwarf. If you want to hear about hardass Hero quest games, ask Geoff about Dragonheart and the Outlands...

I remember playing this, I played Nugget, a Dwarf fighter with a Toughness as high as it gets, so I had the role of door-man.

But I can't remember much more then that, was it Gary's brother who ran it..?
