Buck Rogers

I didn't take part in that game, but I know that those who played both didn't. For one thing, the charecters in the 24 hour game here about 6 levels higher, and - like I said - a million times harder.

Ah, I couldn't recall if you were using the same charactors as you used in the campaign. Mind you it would explain why I don't remember eveyone else being rather pathetic.
Craig
Yeah, but that was a different game all together. It had nothing to do with the first one. I recall when one of my characters died, the replacement ws twicw as hard as everyone else

I only played in the 24 hour bit of Ed's Buck Rodgers game (where we all ended up as godlike artificial inteligence beings). I can't remember what everyone else was like but my charactor did have at least one decent stat as I seem to recall he was a bit of a computer genius (thus he was delighted to be stuck as an AI) and he was near the top on his inteligence score. And I think he was quite agile and likeable too. I think he sucked at everything else though...

Does any body else recall just how poor our characters were? We rolled them up with cursed dice that only seem to have the numbers 1 through 3 on them. Including all the racial bonuses - of which there were a few in that game - no one had a score higher than 16.
