Hector

Hector is a dog boy, a free-born humanoid mutant dog, whose parents broke away from the Coalition States who created them. Although he was born in New Lazlo he has been brought up in the only way his indoctrinated parents knew how, so it is unsurprising that he has drifted into the same sergeant role his father had before him. Unlike the more usual hunting or tracking dog breeds, Hector is an Old English Sheepdog, which gives him a comforting, shaggy appearance that belies the gun-skill he showed during the zombie fight. In the fight with the demons though he seemed to go beserk, seeing the unnatural creatures as a natural enemy.
