Is this a good idea

Ok, I need some feed back. Does anyone else here think this idea will work? I'm hoping it will make it easier to look back at old debate pages without having to search through huge amounts of irrelevant data. Also, when some uses the RecentChanges button it will show them what topics are active and also the title of new threads before they look at them. Any thoughts?
