Kineticus

Kineticus is typical of many reality bubbles. Once inside, the entire realm is no more than 4.5 km across, and forms a perfect sphere. The outer edge is composed of a metalic substance that appears to be iron from spectroscopic analysis, but is impervious to all forms wear and chemical attack.

The most interesting feature of Kineticus is the huge mechanical device that fills the entire realm. It is an exceedingly complex array of meshing gears, leavers and other components. All of these are in constant motion, but no driving force has been isolated. Each gear moves only because the ones it is attached to are in motion. Kineticus appears to be a enormous perpetual motion machine. Wonderous as this is, it has no clear function at all, as if the entire realm exists to demonstrate an engineering principal and nothing more.

Scientists from Kalchichi certainly hope so, as they have set up a small reasearch station within Kineticus itself to study the machinary and perhaps find away to replicate the effect back in the Fourth World.

Some worshipers of Grundy hhave stated the belief that Kineticus is scared, and the prescences of the kobolds aggrivates the bad relations between the two fractions.
