Dark furred humanoid feline with a lightweight but muscular body. Ranging in height from 5' to 5'9". they have a long narrow tail similar in appearance to jaguar.

Long ago before the Shuldin came to rule the Marabass Jungle, the Malkin lived in the tree tops. They do not remember much from this time all they know is that a fearsome war was fought with the insect people for many years, but war with Shuldin is like fighting the tide - for every one you kill two step in to take its place. So the shaman of the tribes came together to seek a vision from the gods and the gods told of a land of grass and small lizard men and this land was given unto them to rule.
So the tribes moved north and left the jungles to move to a land of the big horizon. The war like Malkin hit the peaceful kobold lands like a tide of death taking much of the land for their own. It was during this time that Malkin devoted themselves to the art of blade making learning to fold steel and sharpen it to an edge so keen it could cut silk in the air.
For 100 years this golden age lasted then the tides of war turned and there god abandoned them and the civilization of the Malkin was crushed in a tide of vengeful Kobolds.
In modern age there are vary few Malkin left. The last remnants of their society is in Laschfell. The refugees that fled to there are a tired and dishonored people, dreaming of their once great warrior past.
They are stuck in the past unable to move on there warriors still Cary the swords of there ancestors and practice a strict code of honor even though there are no more warlords.
