Yeah, all your powers got boosted by some levels for most of the adventure as you were facing the likes of Galactus.

You also gained some means of teleportation and telepathy if I recall correctly.

Though I may have vetoed the ripping up of Captain America's shield (due to its toughness) I'm pretty sure following on from the Spiderman/Punisher discusion I did let you hunt down Mr Castle and give him a well deserved beating...

I think the Watcher increased Snowstorm's magnetism - somebody must have, because I distinctly remember the rather nasty tactic he started using in battle of throwing a large metal disk at an enemy, wrapping it around their face using his magnetism, then using it to pick them up and slam them into walls! Hohoho, happy days.

PS - We never did get to tear up Captain America's shield.

PPS - Craig, do you remember that ludicrous conversation we had with Stuart Haddow/Barrs about who would win in a fight between Spiderman and The Punisher?

Although I never played him, I did have a character in this game. He was a cyborg. To be honest, I'm not sad that I didn't play him because all the enemies had so much body armour that he was incapable of harming any of them. Seeing as no-one cared what a useless npc got up to, he sent most of his time using his contortions skill to tie himself into notes, or so I was told.

As I recall his magnetism power was something like Poor, so he was more a sort of Apprentice of Magnetism.

But I guess that doesn't have the same ring...

Anyway, yeah.

I enjoyed running that game.

One of the few times I've sat in the GM chair, certainly the most succesful, as all the other times I've done it with this group have been abandoned after one or two sittings.

Unless you count the silly Toon games and a rather amateur World of Darkness campaign I ran for a while in break times (in both the library and that room you were allowed to use if you didn't want to go outside for lunch)

I suppose I could count them as this group because Geoff definately played in the Toon one, I can't remember if he joined the WoD game. But I cringe thinking back to my GMing of those games, where as I still feel rather fondly for that MSH campaign.

I played my favourite charcter of all time in Craig's game - Snowstorm. He was soooo cool. Well, I thought so anyway. He could fly. He could control the weather. He was a master of magnetism. He had amazing powers of ice generation. And in his spare time he helped little old ladies across the street. As the heroic leader of Strikeforce X, Snowstorm considered his powers to be a great gift, which he should use for the benefit of mankind.
