This simple spell allows the caster to generate and control enough electrical energy to power a small hand held device such as a mobile phone, GPS unit or something else with a comparable energy drain. While the spell is in effect, the device works normally. At the end of it duration, the power cuts off immediately.
This spell isn't usually taught in institutes of learning because it was few industrial or business application that can't be met by better planning! Nevertheless, it is quite well know, and is often found in the pages of hobiest magazines and on spell sharing internet sites.

The caster targets this spell against any computational/electronic device. It allows the user to interact with it as if they had their hands on the controls. It does not improve the wizards knowledge of the device, nor allow it to perform any opperation it is not normally capable of. The wizard can turn the device on and off in the normal way, but cannot cause cables to become (un)connected nor would a DVD's jump out of a cupboard and into the hard drive. They can access already attached devices, or make a jukebox change records, as these are part of the functioning of the device.
The material component for this spell is a small length of wire.
