Noman's Shield

Despite the fact that this is a shield, it could just as well be called a double edged sword. While it provides good protection against melee attacks, it has the unfortunate side effect of drawing in every missile weapon in the vicinity, with potentially lethal consequences.

The maker of the shield, and whether or not they knew about its malfunction, is a mystery.
