Pre-Taladas Dungeons and Dragons

I think it was Billings who ran a D&D game in the space between the Riddling Reaver ending and the Talladas game starting up. For me it was a simular experience to Sandy & Kev's in Nick's WFRP game. This time it was home-brewed rules that tipped the balance towards the GM's friends, making them almost godlike (I recall a super powerful class called the Warlock, who was a kick-ass fighter-wizard) whilst anyone he didn't know that well ended up restricted to playing mere mortals.

I think Ed also took part, and whilst he was one of the lucky few who got to be superhuman it still prompted him to start up a proper AD&D game...

(I've just realised that I have implicated Ed as having been Billings' friend. Mwah ha ha.)
