Remy

Remy was with the Heroes for one fight at the end of the quest to find the Five That Shall Be One. What little the Heroes know comes from Krath with whom the swamp elf was friends. The swamp elves are refugees from Amarchnesti who found themselves driven from their lands by the minotaurs and who eventually found refuge in Blackwater Glade. They are more ragged and spiteful than most elves and have a tendency to favour vendettas over harmony which marks them out as different from other elves.

Remy’s own history is as murky as the swamps he grew up in. It is known that he is part of the Thieves Caste, an organisation devoted to stealing what the elves cannot make from the civilised lands to the north. He was married at one point but whether his wife is alive, dead, divorced, waiting for him or hunting him down is unknown. He met Krath in circumstances that neither one has ever discussed, but it is known that both of them came out owing the other their lives. When Remy joined the Heroes for that fight it was because he had come to ask Krath for help. The two of them headed south to deal with a crisis. Stubby Bobblenob tried to overhear their conversation before they left and is convinced there was some mention of a son. The last word of Remy was when he joined Krath and Zabu in their trip to Challenga.
