  • Earlier today games designer El Cid Mears was struck down by a freak lighting storm. Religious groups are claiming this to be a judgement from the gods, following the publication of his blasphemous God-sim game Civilisation Builder. As of yet no specific priesthoods have stepped forward to claim responsibility for their deity.
  • Controversy struck today in the World Cup Football Championship after Zoar Labb, lead striker for the Free State of Antarctica, had his legs kicked out from under him in a vicious challenge from the Draken defender, Kamphis Baal. The Antarctica head coach, Skarn Mastly, said that they should have them stiched back on for next Saturday's crucial game against Grund's boys.
