The Jarak Sinn

In the beginning, there was only one type of lizardfolk - the Bakali. They served Chislev for an age, but then a great plague swept across the Glade and almost drove them into exstinction.
The Jarak sinn rose to fill the gap, seeming to come from nowhere. According to legend, they were created by the power of Chislev in a single night, assuring that he would always have followers.
Despite their common religion, the two reptilian species hate each other and have fought since the moment the Jarak Sinn appeared. From the Bakali view point, the Jarak Sinn are invaders on their homeland, trying to steal both their territory and their god. At times, the threat of extinction sems almost trivial by comparison.
The Jarak Sinn simply consider the Bakali to be a weaker and inferior version of themselves, a prototype that is now obselete and needs to be removed. Chislev created them to replace the Bakali, and everything the Bakali consider their own really belongs to the Jarak Sinn.
The Jarak Sinn are physically larger than the Bakali but rather less intelligent.
