The Magic Missile Six-Shooter

Or the Pernicious Purveyor Of Ranged Death Through The Use Of Expelled Energy as its gnomish inventor would have it. It appears to the wizarding community to be a badly mangled wand, with all manner of bends and finger-guards where none are needed. But to the Airriders, who once faced a band of neo-otyugh on another world who used engineering of such advancement as to merit the name 'technology', it is remarkably similar to their 'gunnes'. It appears the gnomes have stumbled upon a similar engineering branch, and that one of them has been able to create a 'gunne' which draws in magical energy, either through engineering works at Hithekel, or by direct infusion from a wizard. It can then expel that energy in the form of a bolt of energy with similar properties to the traditional magic missile spell. It is only capable of carrying six shots at a time, but its easy reloading procedure (signalled by the illumination of six gems around its barrel) makes it a useful substitute for a regular wand of magic missiles.

The group came across it during the quest for the Dragon's Graveyard, in the wreck of a downed gnomish flying machine. Initially it was Pez who carried the 'gunne', but during a fight against some harpies, in between their return from Old Aurim and their abduction into Ravenloft, Pez tossed the 'gunne' to Hawk and has yet to ask for it back.
