• Lord Raimos - Human ruler of New Aurim (which borders the Dutchy of Bissel). Raimos is a fierce warrior and no friend of Bissel. A strong ruler, he is not motivated by evil, but by the belief that men must be governed and that order and security must be preserved. Commands by far the largest army of Thenolites. New Aurim is a freeland, though the worship of Usa or the practice of Angomaisian magic is punishable by death. New Aurim city is now the largest in all of Taladas.
• Lord Markiedes - Human ruler of Sammthon, suspected worshipper of Usa. The depraved ruler of Sammthon is as cruel as he is perverted. Seized power by blackmail and intrigue. Sammthon is nominally a freeland, but still riddled with Usa fanatics.
• Lord Heff - Human ruler of Hanuman. Half-brother of Lord Deljeth of Akonsby. Brave and fair, Heff is a sworn enemy of the Jarak Sinn who border his land. Hanuman is a freeland.
• Lord Greww - Orc ruler of Gallan. Greww is known as "The Giant" on account of his being nearly seven feet tall. Some say he was the subject of a wizardly experiment gone awry, but whatever the cause he is extremely intelligent and cunning. Gallan has become something of a refuge for demihumans, particularly orcs.
• Lord Mott - Half-Orc ruler of Vespeth. The "Leashmaster of Vespeth" tries to rule his subjects with an iron fist, but most of the lands know little law, and less still justice. Protected by an insanely loyal praetorian guard of low ogres, little information comes into or out of the lands of Vespeth.
• Lord Deljeth - Human ruler of Akonsby. Known by some as the "Laughing Lord", Deljeth is not the fool that he often portrays himself to be. He is loved by his people (mainly humans), and has outlawed all worship of Usa.
• Lord Gozgoroth - Zombie lord of Hith, Ruler of the Chasm. No-one visits the Chasm, and with good reason. Legend tells that the Sons of Usa killed in the civil war rose again and flocked to this inhospitable land. Some say that Gozgoroth is a death knight.
