Timur bay is the last foot hold of the Kalchichi empire in the lands of Coruvain. It is little more that a strip of beach in the lee of the spur of the Carpathis Mountains that divides the north-east and north-west areas. The bay is home to a Timur city, which is a busy place that sees a lot of through put of both people and items. It has a large harbour and a civilian airport. A military outpost sits amidst the Timour moutains, were it can keep watch over the surounding lands. The base also hosts a second airport, this one reserved for its own use.

As well as its tactical importance, Timur city is also note worthy as the home of Retchan of Jiyank. He owns the gun and munitions factory that supplies much of the industry in the area. The rest of the economy is fueled either by catyering to the need of the military population, or on export/inport duties on the many goods that pass through Timur bay, either leaving for Kalchichi or heading towards the inland areas.

Aside from keeping the wealth of the area flowing, Retchan's reputation is also part of the reason that Timur bay is still within the Kalchichi empire. As one of the most powerful sorcerers alive, he tends to have his own counter on maps representing military situations.
